Not your typical chinese novel but at the same time your typical chinese novel. Honestly I've dropped most chinese novels except for this and library. Very good novel would recommend to anyone that likes chinese novels but gets fed up with the typical mc and villains.

I don't understand how this isn't typical to you. I feel the same as you about most Chinese novels, but this one was SO painful to read. MC is a bland stereotype, and the dialogue is so incredibly ridiculous.
