I liked the concept. But it's just not my cup of tea. There's little to no character interactions, and it feels like MC got a forced romance with Toru with no development. And author turned Shoto into some third rate villain when i feel like the MC was the one who even provoked Shoto in the first place. The story is fast paced. So don't expect any character developments. The author too hasn't explained the potential of the MC's sage mode. And the first few chapters are full of time skips and little-to-no interaction with his parents and author didn't show or make a chapter on how he became friends with Momo and Nejire.

It's not a bad fic, just not for me. Advancing a few chapters I felt like I never left the synopsis. Everything is too shallow, too rushed. You explain things like "he looks like X, she looks like Y", "I wanted that, and so I did, end of story". And those are the reason for my low score in Story Development, Character Design and World Background. Again, not saying the story is bad just that it didn't catch me.
