As someone who's been on this website for a long time, specifically as an avid fanfic reader, I can confidently say this story is very very intriguing. I will explain in detail. But for now, the overall sentiment: It's great and a somewhat unique twist on the typical HP fanfics. I'd definitely recommend people read it. Now let's dive into the details. Starting off with the writing quality. I am not the best judge, and probably slightly biased. However, if I do compare it to the others I've read on this site, the writing quality is good. It's descriptive, sensible and invokes a detailed scene. Though sometimes it can feel overpowering, but that's not really anything you'd worry about as a reader. Perhaps, just for the author's reference, sometimes it's best to tone it down so the chapters are more digestible. Regardless, 5 Stars, through and through. I am not one to speak on "Stability of Updates". I already have a horrible track record of that. However, it's not that bad. The author is probably busy, and seeing as its their first book, it probably takes some time getting used to the update schedule. For now, 5 Stars, I don't see why the rating should suffer. Story Development. An interesting twist on the classic HP fanfic, though nothing too wild or off beat. Harry does have female twin in this story, and hence the number of POV's that matter are increased. If you're not into that, its understandable. MC is the grandson of Grindelwald, that's well established. The story is a great attempt at creating tension in Hogwarts through "indirect politics", but not the unsavoury kind. Only 10 chapters in, so I cannot claim that its perfect. But it is intriguing. Character design. The author has done well in crafting their own MC (Lucian). He has a great personality and always seems to know more than he lets on. He is calm, collected and primarily someone that doesn't share much. Not to say that he's not sociable. That's a separate matter. He's quite the enigma, the best way to describe is someone who's probably matured faster than he needed to. He's well versed in what goes on behind the scenes. Nevertheless, that doesn't take away from his inquisitive thoughts, and it seems like there's always a plan. World Background, well the world background isn't something surprising. Typical Hogwarts story. Perhaps in the future we'll get to see France or some other magical country. The story starts off near Diagon Alley, so don't expect it to change course. Look's like the story will spend the first arc or two in the castle. Overall, interesting story. I am happy that its not harem. I hope the author continues writing and uploading. Definitely a story to keep your eye on. I'd also recommend that the author should leave his own review, explaining his perspective on the story and what his circumstances are. It'll help connect with the readers more.

LIKEWow, first of all, thank you so much for leaving a review. Honestly, I never expected to get one this quickly, let alone one as detailed as yours. It’s both exciting and a little surreal to see someone take the time to analyze and appreciate the story like this. It’s incredibly satisfying—and honestly motivating—to know that the story I’m creating resonates with you and that you’re enjoying it. Your words, along with the recommendations you’ve shared both in the review and the chapter comments, mean a lot to me. Feedback like this is very good, especially as I’m just starting out and trying to find my footing. I’ll definitely take note of the advice from readers. As this is my first “book,” there’s still so much for me to learn, and I know it’s a process that will take time. But hearing where I can improve, and what’s working well, helps me move forward with more clarity and confidence. Your suggestion to leave a review from my perspective is a great idea, though I’ll admit, I’ve never even written one as a reader, so it might take me a bit to figure out how to put my thoughts into words. Still, I’ll give it a shot because connecting with readers like this feels incredibly rewarding. Once again, thank you for giving my story a chance and for your unwavering support. You’ve honestly made my day, and I’ll keep doing my best to make this story something worth reading. Note: Apologies for the late response, but life has been pretty busy lately, and with the holidays that just passed, it was impossible to keep up with the status of the story.
No worries about the response, I also write fanfics, so I know how gruelling it can be to try and manage writing with a hectic schedule. I came across your story on new fanfics. I was instantly enamoured with its premise. There's not a lot of authors on WN that write fanfics which don't use some form of R18 as a crutch to push for popularity. As someone who liked your story, I knew I just had to leave a review, otherwise you might not realize how "liked" the story is. It's very difficult to keep going without motivation and reviews/comments always reinforce the passionate authors. In addition, when I said you should leave a review, I did not mean from a 'readers' perspective. It neither has to be detailed, nor analyse the story's structure or plot. Think of it as an "excerpt " from the author of a book. You'll write a similar intro to the book, ask people to give you ratings, perhaps even make promises about releases etc. You can check out any popular fanfic and see how "Shameless Author Reviews" work. They're mostly comedic and often help bridge the gap between the audience and you. Good luck my friend. I hope you continue writing!
