the story idea was good but damn, who told him to have extra fluff at the start of fanfic? over explanation for his torture at the beginning and overly exploring the power system in his eyes simply made it so unappealing for most people hete. It doesn't matter the story gets good if you have wait 50-60+ chapters for it, most would would leave and the story isn't that good enough to tolerate this BS. We can only learn that what happened if an author over emphasis torture scenes and keep info dumping like no Tomorrow. It's like those poor CN fanfic whp tries to prolong the webnovel execpt they do at the middle or at the end, not in the beginning to drive off people . Condensing those 50-60 chapters into 20 would have saved the novel from losing so many fans

the sub 2k words per chapter is making this feel like a drag. it didnt even make me read it properly. i just skimmed and i was still able to follow the plot. finished it under 30 minutes as of currently theres 22 chapters released. chapter 10+ is where he'll get betrayed. chapter 20+ is where he'll get tortured. between all those theres lotsa exposition and pov changes. if u wanna read this, wait until theres 50 chapters out maybe. webnovel format being trickle feeding is such bullshit
