The start is a bit spotty cause the mc has a thing where he use comedy inside his head to calm himself down while the original owner of his body is a bold chop shop owner kinda like in Tokyo drift. He got introspected a bit to get himself in balanced but he did reasonably better despite understanding how messed up Terror Infinity is. What makes me like this fanfic is how smart he's using the resources handed. He knows what he lacks and understands what he needs. Before making a decision, he took an intelligence booster like Nzt-48 because there's always a better plan. Stirred out of drama, and trained while relying on a loyal master. (The main god gave them a free companion, a human creation to be by their side.) Some created a wife or a gf but the mc created a master to teach him Nen. Enough spoilers though, this is a hidden gem.

LIKEi agree. i may not have done the same things or made the same decisions. but for a guy I deem kinda challenged, I think he did the best he could do by enhancing it before making a decision on anything. that said, for authors I don't advice such routes, it is extremely difficult to write a convincing character that surpasses ones own intelligence. the author kinda solved that by it being a temporary boost behind closed doors of which we saw the results. that said, the outcomes dont reflect someone highly intelligent or someone who did their research... but atleast its not a bad outcome and still pretty goof allround.
Idk if you watched the show Limitless where Nzt-48 came from but it doesn't boost your brain. It just makes it more efficient. It's the difference between a drowsy guy on the verge of fainting and a guy who's had an injection of adrenaline. Same guy, different states, with some extra energy. Nzt-48 is technically bad for you cause it forces your brain to work on peak efficiency with perfect access to all your memories but he used Biscuit's Nen ability to void that. There was also a line in the movie and it basically says that the smarter you are the smarter you get on Nzt-48. I hope he learns how to make it and the injection in the tv show to make him permanently immune to side effects of Nzt-48. He might not need it but his future teammates might or at least the characters of the movies cause there's an option to take a character from the movie to be a teammate. Alice is a viable teammate. Loyal, smart, and extremely skillful.
