Author here! I'm just gonna leave a small review. Yep, you got that right. I'm give myself a 4.8 rating. No, I'm not a narcissist. (I guess?). The only reason I'm not giving it a 5 star rating is cuz of my studies that might affect the updates a bit.

This novel is so heavy on Chinese elements that it becomes hard to read. It mixes cultivation levels and their divisions to the point of being unbearable. It's simply not for me, but maybe it’s for you. ....

Too much cultivation nonsense mixed in. I knows it's a system based on cultivation, but you're treating the shinobi ranks as of they are some kind of cultivation level. Imo it'd be much better if you simply designed an original cultivation system or too your favorite from a activation novel and then just used the shibi ranks as a comparison instead of as the actual level. For example, since chakra is a combination of physical and spiritual energy, your cultivation system would be based on body(vitality) cultivation and spiritual(soul) cultivation. In this case the beginners package would supply him with a technique that cultivates both through meditation and exercises. Doing tasks could provide specific benefits like, increasing the 'profoundness' (complexity) of the main cultivation art, provide him with jutsu or ways to train to be more in tune with the elements( basically nature transformation training), provide him ways to train energy control, or a raw boost to the soul or vitality. Cultivation levels could be determined by the amount of chakra he has and the cultivation art levels could correlate to changes made to the body and soul to be more comparable with energy and physical arts. For example: Foundation building: first itwould have body forging with different levels where the body would be prepared for the life of a warrior. Muscle, bone, organs, nerves, brain and tendon forging. Subtle adjustments made to the body like making it completely symmetrical and increasing reaction speed and granting an overall boost to the vitality, making it perfect for cultivating vitality and acting as a base for all future improvements. The second level would be focused on the soul. Soul purification, soul shaping to match the body perfectly, soul strength enhancement, soul sense. Making the soul perfectly suited to the life of a long lived cultivator. Third would be energy. Improving the connection between soul and body to make chakra production faster, increasing the number of chakra channels and tenketsu in the body by a lot to increase flow and control, widening the energy channels to boost the amount of chakra that can be made at once, creating a connection between the soul and body that allows chakra to be fused automatically etc... Going by this, a fully realized foundation building expert would have strength no less than the sage as doing all of these things would make grant him something like the perfectly shaped body soul and energy channels. Then he could move on to other worlds to continue his journey. Anyways I went way offtrack there. If your going to combine cultivation and a system like Naruto, it's better to design your own cultivation that matches the power system than to make the shinobi ranks into cultivation ranks, at least in my opinion. I know I said a lot but I hope it's helpful in the future.
