I think this is a chinese novel, this kind of novel is hard to translate because there are so many pokemon names that are wrongly translated using machine translator. The initial concept is interesting. But it felt like a speed run because the author made all pokemon technically available through gacha luck. I think it would have been better to start with original 150 first then see how it goes. But because extremely powerful pokemon were available from the get go, the genshin main story took a huge backseat that eventually became all but forgoten. The pokemon craze over run the genshin idea completely. Which would have still been fine but the later generations being available put the whole concept in chaos. Let alone pokemon, theres also the high tech pokeballs and pokedex that has internet conncection so those were i think some concepts that were kind of brushed aside and not fully explored as a plot point or reactions of genshin natives. I found myself enjoying some of it but got drowned in the chaos and thinking to myself, where is this going?

Well the translation need work, inconsistencies in names create minor confusion, rest is good I like it so far, considering that I moved recently more to fanfics that goes "lets do our own staff and my influence will change a plot" and not straught up "I will change plot directly by my own"

it's good and doesn't have the name swap every three sentences and is q decent read
