The story is good, the premise is good, but the story feels too stretches out with many paragraphs and dialogues feeling artificial and GPTed. Like I get your goals, how pokemon bonds matter, the MC is now very very childish, parents are proud but you don't have to say this in every chapter, it feels like it's a parental motivational story not a pokemon fan fiction

I had hope for this story, but now I give up, it's like time in not passing in the story even though MC is now 10 it feels like every chapter I am reading the same thing and every chapter we learn "it's about the bonds"

For those who don't want to read the whole review, I will start with a simple advice. If you love Pokémon anime and think that Ash is the best thing since sliced bread then you should give this novel a read. If you don't? It's more complicated... Writing quality is surprisingly good. Thank God, it's not one of those 'AI assisted' garbage stories that kill your braincells every time you hear something is 'palpable' or a 'testament to smt'. It also isn't an another Chinese Fic and let's leave it at that. Unfortunately that is as far as pros go in my opinion. Technically this is a Reincarnation novel. Author probably really wanted to self insert or give his MC ungodly amount of Pokémon knowledge so he went with Reincarnation. It wouldnt be a problem if he dealt with it better. As is? It's pretty bad. Main character is technically reincarnated and since he was a teenager before his crossing, at this point in the story should be above 20yo. He also, as mentioned has a lot of knowledge. Somehow tho, he is absolutely brainless and unable to think more than 1 step ahead. Not gonna spoil too much but just know that he holds a certain fish Pokémon in an aquarium, inside his closet, while attempting to evolve it (also keeps it a secret from his family). Author sets some rules for Pokémon world but also immediately disregards them for the sake of MCs plans. This might change in the future but as of now, there is absolutely no real training in this novel. MC just had his first fight, which he won thanks to his pokemon evolving while being stomped. He just magically had all the moves without any history of learning them. Oh and another minor spoiler: MC and his sister randomly awaken as an extremely powerful Psychic and ghost power shifted individuals respectively. No training. That's how their "Vortex" family roll. (when I first saw the surname I was hoping it wasn't an Uzumaki reference but then... Well just know that there will be some Naruto fanboying) There are more flaws to this story but this should be enaugh to have an idea if you wanna read this. Good luck.
