I think the author forgot who the MC is. Besides the first few chapters where the story is focused on Fang Yuan, as soon as we get past the first nightmare, the story focuses on Sunny while Fang Yuan feels more and more like a side character. Everything from then on is written from the perspective of Sunny, with the occasional "Meanwhile Fang Yuan..." as if Fang Yuan's reaction was a passing thought on the author's part. I came here to read about Fang Yuan in Shadow Slave but I get a mostly copy paste of the original novel with some passing statements, which usually consist of a sentence or two, every few paragraphs about Fang Yuan's reaction. It genuinely feels like the author forgot Fang Yuan is the MC instead of Sunny. All in all, very disappointing.

when will fang yuan kill that shit sunny, . just make him kill that garbage mc . and continue with ss plot . ss is very amazing novel, it is good except sunny . and why am i sensing that fang yuan has grown soft . Let alone 3 lifetimes even 100 lifetimes can't reformed this person , ( don't forget it) . fan fic has potential and i am only here for Fang yuan killing and looting people while recituing a poem

Since it’s a series combining RI and SS, the quality is really good, and the author has a great narrative style. I think if they decide to continue, it would definitely be a series worth reading.
