I'm going to be completely honest here. I've been reading this story from chapter one since last week and the story itself is interesting and so are the personalities of the pokemon. Tl;Dr at the bottom
BUT, and this is a big one, the "translator" is constantly getting names, especially names, and genders wrong. The worst is that as you go forward, you'll notice sudden time skips, missing out on entire sections of battles and meetings that were supposed to have happened in the current or previous chapter. It doesn't get better, and I dare say it gets worse the further in I go with how often content is just outright cut or missing.
The "translator" knows this, you'll see hundreds of comments about it with people complaining about the missing content, or the CONSTANT correction of names. I remember seeing an author note saying that they aren't ignore the comments and are taking them seriously, nearly every single chapter after that has proven that was a lie to me. I still remember, they doubled down on giving one of the characters the wrong name when comments pointed it out. They called Flint, Gardenia, who they haven't even met yet, nor was introduced or even relevant at that point in the story. That right there, just told me that the "translator" doesn't actually care about the quality and I can see why there were dozens of comments, especially when certain fights were just entirely removed, said that they were dropping this story.
The story itself is good, but the translation and translator were bad enough that I'd take at minimum 2 whole stars off. The story is good, but damn, it needs a new translator or they get an actual proof reader and make real corrections. What really gets me, is that they should be able to edit the chapters, and the comments are already pointing out where the mistakes are, they just don't and plug their patreon in the author's notes.
Tl;Dr : Story is fun, translation is trash and will cause headaches because you'll have to auto correct names, genders, etc, EVERY chapter. While also having to deal with repeated missing content.
