From my experience the story starts really strong but once you hit towards the premium chapters (around 40) it falls off some. This is mainly because the Mc begins building a bigger power base in the real world, and anyone who has been around translated novels on this sight for a while knows what happens when there is a modern setting and Mc interacts with other countries. That made the novel a bit messy and unenjoyable to me. The premise of the story itself (coming back to the modern world for resources) s really exciting and hooked me strongly at first, but later at the story progresses you realize it can be limiting and cause problems later in the story. One example of this is there seems to be a strange plot hole where Mc can cultivate in our world with zero problems. Some of it is somewhat explained but other parts not really. There is also the issue of time. There are secondary characters in the real world, but time moves the same between worlds so unless the novel has the MC blitz like crazy (or being other people to cultivation world which is hard to do well) they will just sorta die off. The story would also go to the point where the author would have to make up a fictional future for the modern world because of time as well. Which I don’t trust to be satisfying in a Chinese novel. All of this said, the novle premise is pretty cool, the mc romances have detials, the side character are actually good and are better then the average card board ones, and the mc is a legit demonic cultivator (to an extent) which are all big pluses. So I still recommend giving it a try for a few chapters and if the issues I mention bother you drop it there and you can still have enjoyed a few chapters.
