Unfortunately you have to start pouring money on this one from ep 10!!...*stories read so far, don't do this until ep 50 or even 70, so you have enough time to decide if the story is good enough for your time and investment. Able to read-only 9 chapters before have to start spending money without having a clear idea if story development is just annoying and it has put me off completely. So annoyed I've decided not to read this one.

The story starts off really well and keeps the reader engaged and intrigued however post 100 chapters it started to become disappointing. The idea or goal that the FL has is to protect her family, she starts building her power and forming new alliances with that goal however there is hardly any attempt from her end towards changing fate of the war that claimed lives of all the men in her family. She is called female Zhuge Liang and often doesn’t want to rely on the crown prince as once bitten twice shy however there are times when it feels she is stupid, hypocritical and overconfident as she is not really cautious and vigilant enough - such as her aunt song’s death which could have been prevented. It mentions about her building the power but there is nothing about deployment of that power to protect her family including her father and siblings who are fighting the war. Plot only focuses on her trying to play politics and scheme however even those plots are not very intriguing. Infact the other characters have developed better than the FL. The most interesting characters are but obviously The Crown Prince and The Empress - frivolous, bold, carefree and charming. Both characters leave an impression in every chapter they are part of which the FL/MC fails to do. The villain is even more boring not worthy of being villain. I didn’t expect the story to be full of happiness however there are lot of flaws and it doesn’t show much effort from MC towards her original intentions. Sorry for the harsh review however after spending 800 plus coins I truly felt disappointed with the progress of the story. The fact that it gives reader hope of bringing an interesting story to the table however lacks due to lot of flaws as story progresses to me is more disappointing than reading a story which lacks right from the start as I wouldn’t spend my time and money on the latter.

This time, he was thoroughly taking advantage of her, enjoying free food and lodging without the slightest intention of rewarding her. At night, the more she thought about it, the more aggrieved she felt. All the silver she had saved up in earlier years had been used to sustain the Emperor. Now that the money was gone, she feared being punished for not being able to support him in the future. The more she thought, the sadder she got, her tears plopping down, which woke the Emperor sleeping beside her. In a flurry, the Emperor consoled her, "There, there, don't cry, don't cry. I haven't even had time to reward you, how could I punish you!" After much consoling, and finally with his promise to provide for her sustenance, she turned her tears into laughter. The Emperor breathed a sigh of relief. This Little Concubine would need to be favored properly from now on—he dared not make her cry again. →→【This story has concluded, thank you for reading】→→ New book recommendation: "Consort of the Roll-Royce is Here, Run!"—It's a good read!
