I don't know why u nerfed his power so much, or just didn't think it through, bc from moment he wakes up In void with his powers he already should be perpetual motion machine.

I haven't nerfed him even a tiny bit. if you had read the third chapter you should have known by now the limits of his ability. Its not a passive ability at all as it has to be actively used by him. Do not compare perpetual motion machine to him.... he's level of proficiency has not reached that level yet. If you want our MC to be so OP from the start then maybe this book is not for you.

I found this information on GPT too...check it out for more clarity. Daniel cannot be considered a true perpetual motion machine, even with his Eternal Catalyst ability. A perpetual motion machine, by definition, is a system that can operate indefinitely without an external energy source, violating the laws of thermodynamics (specifically, the first and second laws). In Daniel's case: 1. Energy Source Dependency: Daniel relies on absorbing energy from his surroundings—be it from physical objects, environments, or other energy types. He is not generating energy from nothing; he’s converting external energy into strength or healing. His ability to function depends on the availability of external energy, which means he is not self-sustaining. 2. Energy Limits: There are times when Daniel experiences limits or drawbacks, such as mental fatigue or diminishing returns from absorbing certain energy types. His body has thresholds, and he needs periods of recovery or access to pure energy sources to continue functioning at optimal levels. 3. Losses and Exhaustion: Energy conversion in Daniel’s body likely isn’t 100% efficient. Just as real-world systems experience energy loss due to heat or friction, Daniel's ability probably comes with some inefficiencies, like mental or physical exhaustion. While Daniel can prolong his activities and heal using external energy sources, these traits don’t make him a perpetual motion machine since his energy reserves are not infinite, and he cannot produce energy without relying on external inputs.

nah man, u clearly stated that he can draw power from any energy, kinetic and what not, now we in our body we have electric energy (that synapses use for muscles and what not) biochemical energy for our cells, and he can draw back energy from kinetic that he use for moving/breathing/heart movements and etc, so he is perpetual moving machine bc of energy+ he can take energy from light /gravity so he literally can't run energy even if he wanted. so bu definition u just nerfed him. and it's giant plot hole.

and if u think he need something like power source for gravity he isn't any matter in universe have it's own gravity field (all particles have it's own gravity field like atoms) so yeah it's dumb, and like if he wanted use light as a source of power why he need Source at all bc even in Void they have light/ so going straight in sun is something dumb/he literally can be super man v2. 0 by definition of his powers, also bc energy like I said before in our body already using it, he can use it and it won't have and side effect on body, so I said u nerfed his powers from beginning or don't think it rly trough

Man that's where you are totally wrong. I will state this again and please read it twice before commenting. ENERGY CATALYST ABILITY CAN ONLY BE USED ACTIVELY BY OUR MC TO ABSORB ENERGY. (ACTIVELY, ACTIVELY, Not a passive thing). You ae saying that MC is perpetual motion machine because the Mc can constantly keep absorbing energy, WHICH OUR MC CANNOT DO BECAUSE OF THE MENTAL AND PHYSICAL STRAIN. So even if energy keeps on generating infinitely, IT WON'T MATTER IF HE CAN'T ABSORB IT CONSTANTLY. YOU ARE GOING WITH THE ASSUMPTION THAT OUR MC CAN ABSORB ENERGY INFINITELY LIKE A ROBOT WHICH HE CANNOT DO. (RE READ THIS POINT AND DON'T KEEP ON ASSUMING THINGS) I will repeat this again, MCU CANNOT ABSORB ENERGY INFINITELY BECAUSE OF THE PHYSICAL AND MENTAL STRENGTH THAY AFFECTS HIM DUE TO USING THE ABILITY WHICH CANNOT BE REMOVED BY USING THE ABILITY AGAIN. (HOPEFULLY YOU UNDERSTAND IT BY NOW)

READ PROPERLY ALL ABOUT THE ABILITY, ITS LIMITATIONS. YOU WILL UNDERSTAND THAT I HAVE NOT NERFED OUR MC EVEN A TINY BIT.
