The story overall is just fine but I can't get over how dialogue is written. - these marks are really troublesome to keep track of and I think " these would just fit better

Okay, this story has a major problems. The idea is good, but the execution was about meh. But the major problem I have is the dialogue. I can’t even understand any of it. It’s like you didn’t even try. “•” <- these exist for a reason, stop using —, it just makes it unbearable to read. Please try to fix this so people can actually understand and enjoy the dialogue.
