I have genuinely enjoyed reading this fanfic. While it has its flaws, I believe them to be far less grievous and in far fewer numbers than a majority of fanfics on this site. The characters make sense and their motivations and emotions are communicated well. The plot follows a logical progression, and the world feels remarkably fresh for one using already existing franchises. Also, the main character walks that fine line of being very powerful while still leaving room for growth and without taking away all tension from conflicts. One last thing of note to me is how well the assassin background is handled. Most fanfics I have read that have assassin backgrounds just casually mention it or use it to explain why their MC has no problem killing, very little emotional depth, or has some unreasonable combat skills. This background is almost never referenced outside of an intro to the character and explanation of these traits. This story does not follow this trope. The background is present throughout his life, the plot, and his motivations going forward. I look forward to reading more from this character’s prespective as we get to explore the Author’s connected multiverse.
