I'm not enjoying this , it's a cliche . An mc with zero ambition , a "will they - won't they" relationship interest and he hides his identity on the rankings , I started this book because I enjoyed the other novels from the author but this is honestly a disappointment so far. imma read a few more chapters to give it a chance but honestly from the setting I've seen so far this book is a cliche of the game genre with a slightly worse protagonist
Liked it!
LIKEYou sound dense. The trope of remaining anonymous and climbing the rankings is overused in both manhwa and novels to the point where it's boring and just another cliche. why would I enjoy reading about an mc with no ambition ? no interest to better himself or his situation in the world outside of the game? it's pathetic . it has nothing to do with "liking attention" , it's being smart. what does him hiding his identity achieve other than him being looked down on , his strength being questioned and others being shocked by his actions? it's an overused and boring trope but if you like simplicity then who am I to judge you ? I just gave my opinion.
But everything you said that is overused and boring is also true in reverse. I have read many cultivation novel where the MC wants to show off and brag to the sky 24-7. Most of Awespec’s (shitty r*pe) novels do that all the time Getting looked down upon will happen with fame too “Oh so you’re the famous . . . Well I’m going to kill you and use you as a stepping stone blah blah blah” Famous for crafting? “How about you do this for free or I’ll . . .” Famous and have any family…? Famous and not the most powerful ever or you stepped on people to make it happen? Meh A wise man fears fame as a pig fears getting fat
I dropped this novel a while now I can't exactly remember what I was arguing about , I just came here to state that I'm also a fellow hater of each of awepecs' glorified r*pe novels
