The style; The pattern and style of the writer is unique and one of a kind. This is probably the most expressive script I have read. I loved that it was expressive and the writer was able to capture the climax of emotions and events. This is something that is usually difficult to do with drama and script because it usually focuses more on the dialogue but as I said, this is different. This is the first Screenplay I have seen that is more expressive than the average novel out there. It takes absolute creativity to be able to do this. Themes; Another amazing aspect of this story is the themes and how they were fused into the story. What Happened To Us carries a lot of controversial messages which is not hard to see but the writer expressed them in a subtle pattern. The most intriguing theme in the story is that of regret which was mostly expressed by “Henry” who ended up committing suicide. The theme of ignorance and mediocrity which was strongly revolving around the Mrs. Emeh Character who ended up dying out of ignorance. The Characters; Characters are the heart of every story because they bring life to every story. I loved that the characters in the stories were well developed and very adaptive to the environmental around them and they were able to magnify the emotions around the story.
