Interesting characters, amazing dialog, and a unique plot. If only I could go back to the past me and slap myself for not reading this story sooner. I already have four other novels by the author in my library, so it was foolish to allow the cover to put me off from reading this gem. It is the story of a kidnapped young girl who is able to grow to become a bold, resilient, and self reliant young woman under the care of the foreign prince who recognizes her determination and comes to appreciate her beauty while falling in love with her character.
