This story had potential, but the inclusion of poorly written romance in chapters 146-147 and onwards completely derails the pacing. It's not even good romance, totally cliched and scholcky. I want to learn about animals and zoo development, not some school girl crush.
Liked it!
LIKEIt starts off with a misunderstanding, and she starts thinking about him in a romantic way. He offers to bring her with him to visit another zoo. She thinks it's a date. Coworkers and other people assume they're dating. He gets embarrassed but goes along with it. Lots of internal monolog. All of that did NOT interest me, so I dropped this book.
