From the title you can see that it is Edgy, but you can always find something notable, unfortunately that is not the case. The protagonist gains power through a system, he has a huge ego, zero morals and believes himself superior because he is dark and psychopathic, the interactions are designed for him to stand out, making everyone stupid.

Yeah, basically Homelander, the reason I didn't expect it to go back to canon is because the protagonist is supposed to be a reincarnated person who grew up in a good family, not an experiment who grew up without father figures.
your average Joe won't really be a good person if they have that much power believe it or not.
