Author again! We have entered season 3 of TIMU! That means the end of the frustration arc between Lucas and Ava (woo!) as she begins to come into her own and recognizes what's right in front of her... Along with a heavy dose of the plot we've been slowly coursing toward. Keep in mind that the themes are DARK, emotional, triggering, even gratuitous at times. While I will label specific chapters with sensitivity warnings, I caution you to read responsibly. Trauma is real, and comes with long term effects that I attempt to display with realism, despite the darkness of it. For those of us who have been there, this is my e-hug for you. Thank you everyone who reads and gives my story and characters a chance. I appreciate all of you!!

I talk a lot but I have to say the fact your writing inspires so many thoughts is truly a hallmark of a great storyteller. The pacing could be a bit quicker in places where I find myself quickly skimming the chapters because it's slow and uneventful (or because there are only so many mental gymnastics stuck on repeat that I can take😅), but by and large this is a really immersive read. I can't binge too much at once because I get so frustrated, but it's not the type of frustration that comes from bad writing where characters act wildly out of character or mind numbingly stupid as a plot device (so awful, so so awful😩). It's the type of frustration that's born from being really invested in the story and its characters. My point is, good on you, author. Your characters are engaging and the plot compelling. I continue to come back to it because it sticks with me off the page. So, good job. Cheers!☺️
This means so much to me! Thank you! I'm actually at a point where it is hard to get as ahead as I used to be, because I also struggle with the characters right now. One of the reasons I wrote TIMU is due to the fact that I was going to run straight into all the tropes of trauma, and childhood abuse, and how that affects relationships and have a strong character come out on top of it all, like a beacon for women everywhere struggling with the same issues... But thinking of your own trauma and trauma journey as you're writing as realistically as you can manage is definitely an effort! I'm so glad you stuck with the book, I know you were SO frustrated at first and I felt for you so much!

Ay, you really do Lucas dirty with Ava though🤭 I can't fault you since I have done awful things to some of my kindest, "most deserving of all the good things" characters. But making him grovel and feel so pained and insecure for so very long all while he has this Blackwood conflict going on is DIR-TY! So, SO dirty! Grimy even!😂 It's like he got blamed for every terrible thing that happened to Ava before that moment, and he did *not* deserve *all* that hardship for making one single misinformed assumption based decision 😆

I hate that it's being so wonky for you, and I hope that gets fixed for you soon. I'd be super duper grateful if you could answer my questions in my last comment in this thread to you, though. I've invested a lot into this story, but I'm having a hard time wanting to continue with Ava as she is right now. Feels like condoning, or at least tacitly excusing, toxic behaviour, which just does not sit well with me at all. I'm at chapter 143. Another testament to your capability as a writer. I've literally never paid for privilege before, but it was hardly a second thought for the chapters I got. So just to be clear, regardless whatever issue I might take with characterizations or the direction of the plot, it is just commentary on events and *never* negative criticism of your writing abilities. If anything, it's a testament to your success and effectiveness in crafting a compelling story with engaging characters. Only time I have this much to say is when the writing's really good or really bad. Usually really bad since it seems many writers do not employ logic, story notes on plot development, or any sense of consistency with character choices...😬...but your writing is really, really good. I genuinely hope it takes you far♥️♥️♥️

I'm currently dying over the chapters I am writing and this was a much needed boost. it is hard to put into words the huge transformation when your eyes get "opened", and that horrible cringe when you see your own actions in a new light. I'm hoping and praying I've got it down. literally finally at the points you've been waiting for!! I've been thinking of you specifically as I write them because I'm like oh, I can't wait for WTW to get here and see what she thinks 🥰 I think my next series will be less dark though. or at least with less of this style of character transformation. it takes a lot out of me mentally in recent chapters, trying to make sure I'm portraying things the way I want to. I've been very interested in the comments lately as there seem to be two very distinct trains of thought regarding Ava. I'm curious to see how they both think once this arc is done!

Yes, there are more to come daily! :) Some days I only upload one (longer) chapter, and other days I upload two (shorter) chapters. Most of the time it is 2 chapters!
