In chapter 3 there is a cliffhanger that doesnt get any conclusion for at least 20 chapters (till the last released chapter at this moment). this makes the story extremely frustrating to read and i will sadly drop this story here. just a tip: if you want your readers to care about the backstory dont put that backstory after a cliffhanger instead of resolving the critical cliffhanger. it takes every bit of momentum you build at this point and put it to zero while making your readers feel unrest.

Sorry for that, What is the cliffhanger in chapter 3? I definitely put cliffhanger in chapter 2, but that's the point—need to follow the flashback. Because it happens when they're in the 30s.
