The fanfic is interesting and good so far. Of course, it would be nice if other characters besides the main protagonist didn't seem so helpless (I mean Max, Gwen, and Ben). Also, I would like to know if there will be a romance with anyone.
there has only been three fights until now, and none of them needed a group fight. Ben has fought, I just didn't see any reason as to why I should write it since it's already in the cartoon. as for the love interest, look at the book cover. no, this isn't harem

Do not think of this as criticism of your work; it's just my personal wish that you wouldn't make the main character better and stronger in everything, pushing others into the background, as other authors tend to do. Nice! I like Hope as Love Interest. btw could his Nemetrix scan Anodite? plus let him have an Osmosian Form which in turn he can use either to absorb energy and matters, or he use it to create hybrid and/or chimera forms.
there are many combinations for hybrid forms he could create, even between aliens and predators, waiting for him to get Upgrade and Malware forms (alien/predator)

Anodite form, yes, he can. Osmosians aren't aliens, just different evolutions of humans, which he'll be able to scan and use even in normal form like how he did with Zak Saturday's powers. and don't worry, everything has its time
