use it as character development that gets partially fixed in the first arc then fully by the 2 or third arc.

Yeah please donât. That would ruin your novel. I donât mean this in an insulting way but reading about people with mental issues is not something people on this app are interested in. I obviously canât speak for everyone but just looking at whatâs popular on this novel will tell you what people want. Especially mental issues as severe as sentry. Thereâs already someone like that in MHA. Twice was a crazy guy. But in the end itâs your novel. I would stop reading immediately if he has mental issues. But there are probably many people that would not.

Not to mention you want him to be a hero and you want romance in the novel. Mental issues, especially severe ones, arenât conducive with either of those things. Not saying mentally Iâll people canât do those things but quality of life and the quality of the romance would be reduced greatly.
