the pacing of the story is very fast, too fast even. As you mentioned in the story, the events that Kenichi had days, weeks, and months to prepare for were squeezed into a few days. You have put in the story that he had years to hone his senses when it should have been more of a simile because he's only had days. Drawbacks or Banes, as you put it, we're perfectly fine, didn't have any problem with it, what's up with people and wanting to kill everyone? My best guess as to why the story is currently so fast is because it's still the prologue, and you wanted to get to the meat of the story(Sorry vegans and animal protesters). The progress of his relationship is also very fast, I'm not sure if that's good or bad, but it went from PG13 to R17 in a few chapters. Kinda sad what happened to his Banes, I've only read one fan fiction where the main character didn't kill. Hopefully, it remains a last resort. Powerscaling is probably the biggest reason to me that the story felt fast-paced because in 20 chapters, it went from schoolyard bullies, to city destroyers. Loved the choices in the world hop and direction the story is going. I wish I knew where the powersystems came from, I only recognize 3 of the mentioned since chapter 20something. Characters are developing very well, I'm getting some idea of their current ideals I think, but I'd love if he was just a tad bit more family oriented, though that's just personal preference as someone that believes that family is more important than a lot of things including self preservation. Awesome story, and solidly recommend reading now, now that intro arc is finished and new one is starting. ( What's up with the silver hair people being set up as overpowered, then getting thoroughly manhandled (Sorry feminist) recently? 😅)
