The story was great, the premises also great. There really isn't much problem in the novel. At first i was expecting someone who tranmigrated or reincarnated and acceepting heroine as a disciples (without reading the synopsis and only intrested on the title) but, i didn't expected him to has a choise system and the system it self felt okay. The only thing i didn't like so far is MC was said to be walking conqueror(?) path. Until the latest chapter i read (around 70+) it was more like the bluffing path. All of the option he chooses only gave him item that make him temporarily strong. There was not really an option with a reward that gave him strength of his own. He was even scamming his sect master disciple and make her his student by deceiving her. the said student is even more powerful than him, so what is it if it was not just him bluffing. It was not i don't like the MC but, what i don't like is how the system reward work. The choice system gave is great and intresting the only problen is the reward. It looks like he will only start getting stronger until he use the fragment memory. What i didn't understand is why he didn't try to get stronger by trying to cultivate.

This is just a stupid explanation, but maybe he didn't cultivate because he thought that he would get stronger with the help of the system without needing to cultivate. Or maybe he thought that normal cultivation would take too much time, since you can't expect a normal person to sit still years on end just to cultivate

Yes and yes, he could have relied on system during the start as an assurance and didn't cultivate himself because he doesn't have any knowledge about how to cultivate. But he was brought up as an genius right, youngest ivy league professor he doesn't act like one if you read during the start he acts like some ingnorant teenager who reincarnates into a world they don't know anything about like any one was there instead of this dude they would atleast deal with the active danger who will kill him in the future but no he wants to avoid him and acts like a side charector who doesn't want main protagonist to notice him when he knows that he will be killed in 50th chapter

incredibly boring novel. MC is a powerless nobody who has to fool everyone by pretending to be a powerful elder of a powerful sect... problem is that in order to make MCs bluffs work, the author had to dumb down everyone around the MC and use unhealthy amounts of plot armor. I initially planned on reading all the available non-locked chapters but I couldn't even do that.

Honestly, the novel is quite boring. It has some interesting parts, but overall, it's really boring and frustrating. Some of the tags are just for show, like the romance and harem, while MC is kinda pathetic, without any real depth to him. He mostly bluffs his way out of situations, and relies on external means without any real power of his own.

It’s a funny concept it could be funny, but the system as a slave system. I don’t know if you like those, but those really repulsed me where the main character literally has to do with the system says no bro that’s freaking stupid in the main character super weak a really, really, really, really, really, really really weak and the freaking system doing nothing for it so I don’t know man if you like reading super weak schemers is what the title the tag said it’s it’s not that he’s literally just trying to survive so if you like that, read it if you enjoy main characters with more deaths than just being a week dude hiding, I don’t read it.

To be honest I read this book because I was always getting recommended by Webnovel, and honestly after reading 20 chapters, I had go drop it, honestly super boring, not to mention it doesn't get any better, by what people have said, here I am now saying mine, read something much more interesting, sorry author, but you can do better than this, anyone can tbh
