the story was fine until the asgard arc like you went out of your way to cause problems and it really is ruining this whole story she didn't need to do anything but you decided she should follow thor to asgard and beat up loki for no reason just to make her fall asleep with magic even tho you can't mentally interfere with a symbiote considering it's part of the symbiote God you know one of the most powerful people in marvel but you decided sleep magic should work on it

LIKEThanks for the feedback ❤️ Glad to hear you enjoyed what I had written up to the Asgard arc, and sorry you felt it ruined the story. From the Asgard arc, I planned to start noticeably changing events rather than subtly doing things like I had been prior to that. If things stayed the same as the MCU, then the outcome of everything would be the same - even if the process was slightly altered. If that was the case, there wouldn't be much point in the novel imo. Mara's goal in going to Asgard was to prevent Loki from causing the New York invasion, which is why she fought him. As far as sleep magic, Symbiotes have been shown in the comics to be manipulated by magic, which is what I went off. If I remember correctly, I think Malekith stole Venom from Knull's control and bent him to his will in a Thor comic - or at least it was something along those lines. And Knull has been shown to be vulnerable from magic invasions into the hive mind. I don't think I'd go so far as to say magic is a weakness of symbiotes, or Knull, but it has been shown to affect them physically and mentally, which is what I based it off. I don't mean this as an 'umm actually', and sorry if it came off that way. I just wanted to explain what I was thinking when planning/writing the arc and what I based the sleep magic off ❤️
