everyone being too harsh just because mc is demon and story is not as good as canon. they want canon level quality. the canon author got money, editor, proofreader and a whole team of manga circle. you guys expect a fan who write fanfiction without team or payment to create a canon level quality? if that the case, no fan able to write fanfic to canon standar. i guess this one of the reason why many frieren fic dead in first 10 chapters. as for me, the fic is really good. not to the level of canon frieren, but certainly there is no big flaw in the story. if someone said that MC demon is boring or wrong and illogical for them to have heart to communicate, the fact that a human in earth reincarnate to frieren world is already impossible to begin with. also its human reincarnated into demon body so the soul is human which is doable for them to think like human. anyway writing quality is good. hardly any typo or grammatical error. update is quite stable. story direction is pretty good. it follow canon storyline but not quite. the mc presence makes the story richer because the author exploring and creating new scene and events which doesnt break the theme and atmosphere of the fandom. MC character design is good but not spectacular. the mc reincarnated to demon child which is cool if he learn magic gradually but then the author make him overpowered so fast. at chapter 14, mc 10 years old already surpass frieren both in mana capacity and magic control. this is the biggest flaw and i believe this is what other reviewer complaining about which i agree, world background is faithful to the beautiful frieren's world and lore so its great. in case people wandering why demon MC growing magic so fast is a bad thing. because in frieren world magic power balance in this world is already quite fair and balance because every race have their own advantages and disadvantages : 1. human is the most talented in magic but they have short life. they eager to make the most out of their life so they eager to learn and become strong fast. also they can learn various spells 2. elf talent is standard. but they lives long so in long run they can be powerful because the longer they live the longer they amass mana and magic knowledge. but their longevity makes them rather laid back and enjoying nature. also they dont feel rush to waste energy to learn destructive things because they live long so they prefer that nature is preserve. they love spending time with nature unlike power greedy human. also their libido is a bit low and they dont love procreate like human do 3. demon magic aptitude around the same with elves but instead of learning many type of magic, they pride in focusing one magic and become the best at it. same like elf, the longer they live, the stronger they become. they proud bunch and love killing human which make them careless. they love flaunt their power. so humanoid race(human, elfe, dwarf) can anticipate and kill demon accordingly. the adventurer and heroes makes sure to kill any demon they meet so its a bit rare to meet meet strong magus demon. compare to human and elves, its rare to find demon which as strong as fern level because demon dont have society to nurture and protect mages like human and elves. but if demon lives long enough, they will be strong as demon lord. this is why this fic character design is not good. because they broke the power balance without lore accurate explanation. MC mana reserve and talent grow sooo much faster than human which render the world power level balance insignificant. by another year, mc would be stronger than serie. unless the author plan to kill MC young age, he will become the god at the age of 16
