If you don't feel like reading another story with the mc being a horndog or being treated like a doormat you shoudl definitely give this one a try. The MC is an idealist but unlike some attention seekers he is also willing to die for his beliefs, He is not scared of death or hardships and doesn't do dumb things just for the sake of plot moving forward. The other characters also have dpeth to them. We can clearly see what motivates them and why they do and say the things they do. The world is well thought out and while it takes inspiration from other fantasy stories it gives them it's onw spin. The monsters, excluding some well known ones that make fantasy what it is, aren't just common goblins or orcs but have their distinctive names and characteristics. To sum it up, while the sotry is still in its early stages, it has amazing potential and deserves giving it a try.
