Some people in the reviews really don't know what they are talking about, the first chapters are really on point of how a obsessed person can act and think. Snape knows that he is being unreasonable, and he knows that what he does is pathetic and disgusting but he cant stop himself from feeling all that and the story explains it very well. Anyways, he got over her at the latest chapters after his eyes were opened. So, if you were like me who look to the reviews first to see if the novels is good enough to read, give it a chance because I wasn't disappointed.

I won't lie and say it doesn't make it somehow difficult to read, but it was written to be like that. If the MC doesn't have this kind of personality, it would have been your typical wish-fulfillment story. Since the MC became OP pretty quickly, his only obstacle is himself.

Personally I'd rather read 200 chapters of an MC pulling himself up by the bootstraps than 4 chaps of an OP simp simping after one girl before changing and simping after another.
