At first I didn’t think I’d like it, MC started as the ‘wealthiest man in the world’ dying at age 110. This kind of protagonist isn’t something you’d be able to like… but fortunately (or unfortunately) the author does not make the MC act like a 100+ year old CEO/Boss instead the MC acts like you’d want him to. A mix of fun/serious. I only give Story Development 4 out of 5 because the author makes the system give out missions that can’t be turned down. This in my opinion is just bad writing, the System itself is already the ‘Beggar System’, the only way the MC can get stronger is by begging. Adding forced missions is just lazy. Lastly, it does suck that I won’t be able to read any further, but I’m never downloading the app.

Stumbled upon this from the Mass Release event 😁 It’s rare to find actual good stuff on WebNovel but this is definently a hidden gem. As of chapter 59, I am completely honest in all aspects of my 4.8 star review, and I have pretty high standards! The writing is very good except for some small errors that haven’t been corrected, something you would also find in the most popular novels on the platform. Plot is engaging and I can’t wait too see more of the world building! I am very picky with system novels and usually drop them immediately but this one has a good balance. The only thing that prevented a 5/5 is that the character design could be just a little bit better and more realistic. For example, although it might be a common trope and a (cultivation world) cultural thing, I don’t think so many cultivators should be this arrogant. Although now that I think about it it kind of makes sense…🤔
