The story is just way too scattered. MC starts as a 5 y/o HUNTING for food for his extremely sick mom and dad who for some reason live in the forest despite there being a city nearby. Suddenly one day, the kid becomes a genius and fetches a lot of rabbits and the parents don't question him about ANYTHING (I suppose he was a regular 5 y/o before MC took over). Suddenly a timeskip happens, no idea how old is MC after the skip. He creates bases for his army on that random island and his parents want to join his army. They were so weak that a 5 y/o had to get food for them and suddenly they get cured. We know it's not MC because he doesn't have advanced medical knowledge as proven by the failed simulation. In 15 Days he awakens haki (not too exaggerated can be attributed to the cheat) And we still don't know how fkin old the MC is when he saves a 6 y/o potential first mate. Good concept but poor execution which is understandable for first time authors. Hope you improve with time. All the best.

Let me put a better answer than anime logic. Haki awakening is hard and learning it in 15 days would be hard. Yes but he could only use it at a very weak level at day 60 or something. He just felt haki for the first time. It wasn't consistent. In the parents case, I think they should have healed faster because if you look at the one piece recoveries they are extremely fast. Take yasoku from the baratie arc he had scurvy and they poured a bit of limes in his mouth and he healed. I will try to remeber to tell you the age of the mc. He is 7 and a half in the new chapter. (has not been released). About the parents living in the woods, they're broke. Also, about them not questioning him on how he got the food for the first time. Here is an answer. They rarely get food. SO rather than questioning be happy. Hope than answers must of your questions.
