Just checked out this novel I love the backstory. I was surprised especially since it was my first time reading dark fantasy. The writing is good except for some punctuation, though it doesn't bother me it might to others. (just saying).

{Ask Questions Here} No way I'm not giving my blood, sweat and tears a 5 Star rating. If you're a fan of Dark Fantasy, let me start with a warning that you'll become addicted to this novel. Call it bragging or whatever, you were warned! Okay, so back to the review. Thanks for checking out my novel. I thought, instead of writing about a MC with magical powers who just want to fight monsters and level up kinda plot, why don't I try something unique for the ever-hungry fantasy readers. But of course, you'll notice some cliche and reader-loving elements as you read. Knowing a lot about humans and what we are capable of, I've often asked myself- why hasn't anyone written a World War plot? Like seriously. If I were to awaken superhuman strength, I'll want to rule the World and so will a lot of people on Earth which will result in a brutal war. Hence, the inspiration behind this novel. MC's backstory is as tragic as they happen which turns him into a psychotic heartless overpowered Demon with a high IQ. At first, his ultimate goal was to rule the world with an iron fist, but some character development happens along the way. There's going to be a small meaningful Harem along the way, but it won't distract MC from his goal. The world in the novel is similar to our own only with advanced technology and the use of Mana for almost everything. Sorry for being so brief, I'll do a more detailed review as the plot progresses. I really hope you enjoy my novel. It's my entry for WSA 24 so please support me with PowerStones, Golden Tickets, Reviews, Comments, Recommendations in your reading lists and of course, gifts. I need that golden trophy. Have a blast... Almost forgot. There's a discord server. JOIN IT!

This story uses a lot of general tropes that are seen often in webnovels- rank-based magic, magic academies, tragedy as a character motivator, and a 'weak' main character who wants to strive for more. The opening was genuinely very gripping, although the hype that was built up fell off after that. However, after some general exposition, the author was able to build that hype back up very quickly. This novel seems to have a very quick 'payoff' to all of that hype- as in that a reader will only have to read a few chapters at a time to experience some decently-cool moments without having to trudge through a lot of sludge content. The main character is a very general type of character. He's weak, a bit self-pitying, marred by tragedy, an orphan, and is generally bullied a lot. However, for some, this won't be too off-putting. After all, the coolest characters who reach the top are ones who weren't expected to. The world design is also very general- a world that was suddenly privy to magical extravagance, and adapted systems around it to try and combat its misuse. However, that doesn't mean it's bad. It's written to form, despite not straying from that mold too much. If you enjoy that type of environment, it's not a bad read at all. I don't think I enjoyed it any less than I enjoyed Solo Leveling's worldbuilding- which is to say, I didn't really. But maybe someone does, and I think this is probably a pretty similar read in that way. Overall, it's not a bad read. Definitely worth a try if you don't have a lot of time to read to get to the cool parts. Author seems to update quite often and has a very consistent writing style.

Level 1 to Infinity: My Bloodline Is the Ultimate Cheat!

They shattered his life. Now, he’ll break the world. Ethan had it all, until his best friend and the woman he loved betrayed him, leaving him crippled and forgotten. Three years of suffering later, he clawed his way to one final, desperate act… and the universe answered. A hidden quest. A second chance. A return to the moment everything began. Now, Ethan is back, on the eve of Ethereal’s launch, the world’s first fully immersive VR game and the battlefield where legends are forged. Last time, he played fair. This time? He’s armed with years of knowledge: every exploit, every secret quest, every broken mechanic that will let him climb straight to the top. But when he logs in, something is off. The system forces him into an unwanted class—Druid, the game’s biggest joke. The kind of class people pick as a dare and regret immediately. Yet as Ethan digs deeper, the truth shakes him. [Congratulations! You have unlocked the Divine Bloodline: King of Elves!] Ethan stared at the screen, unblinking. “…The hell?” The Druid class was a jack-of-all-trades, master of none—a scattered mess of abilities that mimicked other classes but never truly excelled. Their bear form lacked the raw defense of a proper tank. Their panther form was weaker than a rogue. Their healing fell short of a priest, and their magic couldn’t compare to a mage’s devastating spells. Most players abandoned the class early, realizing they could never compete at the highest level. And yet, Ethan’s stats are off the charts. His talents are absurd. His potential is beyond anything he’s ever seen. The system has given him something no other Druid ever had—a divine bloodline, legendary abilities, and a growth rate that defies logic. If Druids were meant to be weak, then Ethan was the exception that would rewrite history. He’s not just here to reclaim his throne. He’s here to take everything. Factions will rise. Empires will fall. The strongest will thrive, and the weak will perish. And the ones who betrayed him? They won’t live to do it again.
