I’ll divide what I have to say into good and bad things, please keep in mind that this is with my own person preference, what’s good to me might be bad to you and vice versa. Read up to chapter 24, rereading now. Bad: MC can be very edgy at times, cynical and sociopathic that it feels like it’s a little much. Brooding and having a negative perception of the world can be excessive at times. The author uses Japanese names for jutsus which can be confusing, this is a nitpick but one I stand by lol Good: MC, even if edgy, acts with logic. Nothing he has done so far can be judged too heavily. He isn’t a pedo (this is something which should be expected, but we all know the state of fics today) Characters act as they should normally, they don’t have personality transplants, I especially like Hiruzen and how he isn’t an old fool or a scheming bastard. Just someone who wants the best for his village and is out of his depth politically and strength wise.

Hurizen is not a scheming bastard but he still should be a lot more suspicious of such a big personality change and visit of Kushina's grave should still raise some points. This is similar to the Chinese MC's mental retardation aura, everyone he interacts with becomes too stupid to think and act. Although I do like how characters are not that stupid like chinese FFs like Sasuke's "I Uchiha so I strong", Sakura's "He only does this too get a date, make sasuke look bad, or look as cool as susuke, etc.", etc.
Yeah the huge personality shift was a big deal for me, even considering Mizukis betrayal, it seemed wayyyy too intense of a change
