solid beginning. mc early character motives and personality are pretty clear for up to ch 3 and will only be expanded with more ch. its going to be nice to see a dc story where the mc is a hero and not just a power hungry and women hungry bastard. also while he grows fast its nice he does not start off broken which will make pacing feel better
