I read this novel from chapter 1 to chapter 7 and all i can say that the novel is bad because i feel that you copied most of the words in the original TDG.(I said this because i read TDG few years back then) Sigh,At least write a whole chapter on your own and not modify the original chapter based on TDG.

yeah I read up to the latest chapter (ch 14) and it's just as you said the author only copy from the original TDG and Lin Fan is just there to baby sit Nie Lie and co. no progress in the relationships. it's just sad that it's a harem story but Nie Lie get all the girls. Lin Fan screen time just cultivate > cultivation rise > helping nie lie and co.
