Sorry to say translation kinda sucks. The MC's personality leaves a lot to be desired too.

I think the translation is fine its not good but its okay, the only thing that annoys me is that MC wants to 'restore' the honor of his family name.

I simply came to write this one thing but then I saw your review and I can’t help but wonder why you thought their would be any immersion with a name like Skylor malfoy? I mean it’s a small thing but I just can’t help but be a little upset every time I read a bad name in a fic. Sorry to the author but I mean cmon.

lmao.Yeah, his name is something evil in Chinese xD "Xie something?" The spells are Chinese as well in them. I dunno what they do in china (referring to movie dubs), i think they rename everything to their cultural counterparts etc.

No no no, if you read right, all the others names are correct, only the mc is wrong, the mc is the only Xiao Lin in the Malfoy family

🤔 I don't remember much of it now, but sometimes, the mtl called Cho Chang some other Chinese name because of her mysterious Chinese grandfather xD. (If this fic is the one where mc awakens his "Malfoy bloodline related "spiritual heritage", then ya, in it some specific names become inconsistent sometimes. Somewhere around 100+ chapters had his names as evil spirit or Xie something)

That's pretty arrogant and stupid. Though, it's on the head of whoever made that corporate decision. That might be why Chinese HP fanfics treat the shield charm as if it's some sort of form-fitting protective forcefield. I think the direct translation was given as "Iron Armor Charm". Such a mistake would, therefore, be understandable. For someone who never read what it does in the books, forgot, or otherwise didn't bother doing the slightest research on it.
