I don't mind having a little mystery, it's actually good, but I think you went a little overboard, keeping MC's powers a secret, stopping some chapters out of nowhere to hide it until the next one, even when he went to find out who ROB sent with him the mc spent several paragraphs monologuing internally, expressing his confusion and disbelief, just to say the name, all of this just makes me angry, if it weren't for the general quality of the story I would have already abandoned it.
