Overall, I am enjoying the story so far. As previous reviews have stated, it's not just about a specific "genre" of wizards. It includes different variations of wizards from your typical Harry Potter style wizard to monks and magical creatures such as vampires and wearwolfs. My only complaint so far is that there are a few times when the gender of characters is switched around, so it makes it a little hard to keep track of who is who and in my opinion the transitions can use a bit of work. There are times when one thing is happening, and then in the next paragraph or the next chapter, it jumps to something that is happening later on in the day. With that being said, the story still makes sense I just feel as if the transitions can use some work. Once again overall its a good story so far and I look forward to seeing where it goes.

Quite enjoying the story so far, a nice blend of fantastical magic and old school cultivation. There are a lot of mysteries already hinted at to be solved, and the MC seems likeable, intelligent and well rounded. I can see this becoming a regular unlock for me if it continues to improve and unfold more of the world and the characters without falling into common pitfalls (like padding etc) as it gets longer.

This is basically the gathering of ALL types of wizards, Western and Eastern in a huge melting pot. It seems to be in the modern world because Harry Potter makes a cameo at some point. Quite the fascinating read though. The MC is clueless of his association with magic and his master does a great job at keeping him in the light and in the dark at the same time! Check it out if you're into fantasy, magic, and mages.
