Its a story of toxic romance. Its fun but its frustrating to no end. especially as you see catherine showing rather strange behavior. She seems oddly fine with everything and that irked me. As a reader, I found her strange. surprisingly Luis feels more human that her. She left me with a strange taste. I feel like her emotions haven't been explained in a depth which were required of a person who had to go through such a hard time.

I totally get where you're coming from regarding Catherine's behavior. Spoiler Alert! You see, Luis had his reasons for acting kinda distant and not caring for her at all back then – he didn't want her to get too attached so that she would be less heartbroken when he finally left her after his mission. And as for Catherine being the mafia boss's daughter, it's almost like a top-secret thing. She's had a surprisingly normal life considering her background. So, don't worry; there's more to her character than meets the eye! Things will finally make sense as the story unfolds But I'll keep your feedback in mind and work on making her actions feel more understandable😊
