My fav author brought another one out!OMG! I love this. The FL draws my heartstrings so much. I don't know what is wrong with her mother because ignorance is no excuse for certain behaviours. The step-dad? He is another handful that I don't want to get into and ML? i don't even know what to feel about him.I look forward to see how these characters develop! Author-San Jiayo!

I am always my first fun 🤩 » So, I give this a solid 5 stars 🌟, not just based on nothing. It is because I know it deserves it. The book is about the trials of a young woman in both love and family. She has to face and try to win the man she has been contracted to marry. Shelby will not even try to win his heart because that will be too high of a bridge for her to climb considering that spot is already occupied. All Shelby wanted to do was her ‘duty’ and nothing else but will it ever be that easy? Join me in reading and you will love it 🥰.

While the writing style is elegant and evocative, effortlessly transporting readers into the vividly described world of the story. but it often comes across as overly descriptive and bloated. The excessive use of unnecessary details slows down the pacing and interrupts the flow of your story. but also storytelling and well-crafted characters ensure a memorable reading experience for fans of the genre. I highly recommend

Interesting. I like the descriptive language and world building. First chapters were slightly boring for me since I don't read these kind of novels but those who do will find it good. Overall nice

going head first into the story, the characters already started off to be a "joy". The mother is basically the living definition of a snake and the father is a good-for-nothing that doesn't care about the child! What else is new- Though the female lead just takes it and goes along with everything! The drama is good in this book but there was some things that seemed off to me, like everytime shelby stutters it would be so random, almost like no thought was put into it at all, though its a small detail so i can't blame you. ((apparently wn blocks out reviews with swears and other words, please tell me if you can see this and sorry again))
