I would give it five stars, and I understand the story is slow paced, and I understand that the character is the epitome of stubborn tsundere that can’t admit he likes baseball with his friends, but it’s chapter 60, we’re still in the first year of middle school and the mc has actually played baseball for maybe a month or something 3 years ago. so frankly, the only reason he still feels like the main character is because you made him so stupidly OP for his age and we focus on his POV a lot. Other wise, this could literally just be what if sawamura had a decent coach in middle school and you’d get the same story.

well my rating is somewhere about 4.8. I dunno why this has 4.3 rating, some say the story is progressing too slow. but i say you guys just got too familiar with fast pace stories but if you compare this story to major league system. its pacing is actually quite nice. too many games will slowly burn the story. slice of life sometimes brings life back to the story so it doesnt burn the enthusiam the readers has for it.
