Why finishing a book that is not popular? For what? Wasting my time and effort? I need to write a book that will pay my effort. If the book doing fine, then I’ll continue writing till the end. But as you can see, my other books didn’t do good, so I need to move on and write new book that more readers will enjoy. Those books already stop getting features because they are so old, so no new readers will come to read. If you want me to continue writing those old books, ask webnovel to give me features.
then why not just remove them ? I have had a simillar thing happen before where I unlocked more than 50 chapters just to find out the book wont be updated.....

You can’t remove a contracted book. Or what do you mean by remove? You mean the privilege chapters? If so, my other books don’t have it.

I agree but you could drop a comment that you are dropping it. Wouldn’t it be better to give them the taste of reality rather than keeping up their hopes that one day you will pick it up again?

I don’t think it’s better that way. It still the same. They would still give hate comments. “Don’t read this author’s novel. Look at his other works, he dropped them.” So instead of worrying about that, I’ll rather put my attention on how to write a better story.
