I had high hopes for this novel but 60 chapters in and it’s just a head of trash. First 20-30 chaps are mostly info dumps repeating the same things. MC is made out to be a hardcore neutral evil guy who only cares about his benefits and himself but that’s not what you get. I mean after millions of years in solitude you’d think he was at least gain apathy but dude doesn’t even want to kill and makes dumb justifications for it. The major plot point/ conflict 60 chapters in focuses around r8pe and women being damsels in distress. Can you not think of anything else besides that? Then this guy does all this learning over millions of years and does what with it……absolutely nothing. He thinks himself to be a great manipulator but the only reason he succeeds is because the author made everyone else essentially incompetent. Such a shame. Not only that author charges 24 coins per chap after 20 or so chaps. This novel concept had some real potential but is ruined by a terrible author. I had such high hopes for a black protagonist. Smh

I appreciate your honest review and have a few things to say in response. 1. Regarding info dumps, those are a necessary part of any world building attempt. I wanted to provide context for everything and create a world that felt "complete". If you don't appreciate info dumps, that's understandable as a reader, but I just wanted you to understand from my perspective. 2. Let's let go of the fact that you spoiled a lot of the novel. The "million years alone but not apathetic enough" idea is a bit one dimensional, no? Did you expect him to kill everyone? Did you expect him to be perfect? He's still a human with feelings and wishes, it is impossible to get rid of emotions, even with practice. You can only supress them and that is not what he did. So of course, he will always act as a human would just to fit in, but he will use everyone around him ruthlessly. 3. With regards to the price... I don't set it. That's webnovel. I recently found out about this and it is something concerning that even I find weird. I will check with the editor for the reason behind this and see if there can be any changes to make it more affordable to people. 4. Women are damsels in distress? Were there no women in positions of power? Well, understandable, I guess. 5. Everyone else is not incompetent and this is proven by the number of times he does not get what he wants. He loses and gets back up. Thats the human thing to do, no? Anyway, I'm sorry you don't appreciate my version of a "black protagonist". There are a lot of people who do though, which goes to show that one's man's trash is another man's treasure. Finally, thank you for your honest review. Some of your ideas have merit and I will make the story better with them in mind. If you want to try the story out again in the future, feel free to do so.

I checked it and have found out it is how my chapters are. My chapters range from 2000 to 3000 words and that is why they are expensive because normal chapters are 800 to 1500 words long. I could split my chapters into three, but that would just mean you would be paying for the same content with it just being split up and that seems unnecessary to me. I don't know. What do you think?

If chapters weren’t repetitive info dumps and actual content it would be worth it. I feel like I’ve paid to read the same chapter 10 times.
