Well, What is Percy jackson without Gods? Adding Shinto Gods was really Creative. I am not saying the delivery was good. What I am saying the concept Was good. I hope you understand.

yes it is but it should have come at a later time is my thought it feels far too rushed for him to be properly introduced to the greek then be catapulted to the Japanese pantheon and the way he got their was utterly moronic story wise with far too many conveniences for me to take it seriously this should have been two or three books later him being called their to help them out with an issue or being sent by zeus to establish better relations given we dont know his mother the author could have even done a Dionysus thing with him and have him be subconsciously called their for something anything but instead we got a boat of bad writing that would make Disney seem competent
