the book starts going really well until the romance with the male lead in female lead starts taking off. there's all these subtle signs that he's some sort of dominant person and he likes her to be a sweet little submissive thing. it's freaking gross. he buys her a bunch of cakes and milks. she said she doesn't like him. he forces her to drink the milk. he goes to our family home to break off the engagement with her stupid sister. he finds out she's really engaged to him. he insists on inserting himself into her life and referred to as his fiance even though she never agreed to it. and in the Arthur starts writing her from this point as being obedient and just going along with the flow. even though she is a super genius and super wealthy and a miracle doctor and God knows what else. we know all these things about her but suddenly she's super submissive and obedient. and one chapter she falls asleep on his shoulder and he strokes and touches her face thinking about how submissive she is. the other literally uses the word submissive like a compliment. and that is what has turned me off completely to the novel. yesterday you become some kind of weird dominant submissive dynamic disguised as a doting older fiance in it girl who may I remind everybody has barely turned 18. but we're supposed to forget about all of that. it makes no freaking sense. I feel like suddenly hurt personality has changed. it would have been more realistic if she said her parents or him I never agreed to this engagement and I don't plan on getting married or something. I hate when stories write something with potentially strong female leads and then suddenly the male lead comes along and it's all about being obedient and spreading your legs and forgetting the powerful background and characteristics the author literally wrote you as. so after four or five chapters of how submissive and obedient she is because now suddenly the male leads works for the underworld and in business and is Uber powerful and is the richest man ever she's just a sweet obedient little girl. also this is inconsistent because in the beginning of the novel they say her dad is like the richest man in the continent but now suddenly the sky is the richest man in the world. but seriously the moment the author starts writing her as being obedient and submissive and not actually sticking up for herself around the male lead instead of being flirty and donating it just comes off as slimy and now the book I voted for and spent some coins on the pre-read has become a book that I really don't like anymore and I don't want to support. but that's just my opinion. you may be into that

LIKEThank you. I was planning to start this book because I liked the synopsis. So glad I checked the reviews. Dom and submissive stories are not enjoyable to me and especially if she was strong and awesome then turns into a wimp and loses herself to submit to the ML. Sickening. Thanks for the warning.
