Alright, writing this review to clear some of the doubts some readers have. This review should help you decide whether to pick this book or not. First, and the most important thing, The relationship between Vaan and his mother will be a completely normal mother-son relationship. I don't even know why I even need to make this clear, I never hinted at any kind of romantic interest between the two, pls. Second, this book will not have a harem. Third, MC's character might be a bit because of his history. And uhh... I don't have anything else to say... Ah right, This book is amazing. I can say it because I have read it till the last chapter. I even know the future chapters so I can tell you that this book will get even better. So you guys should read it.

Hello, everyone. When I first started Magic Spirits, I was so excited by the idea of blending a gangster-like personality with a mage, beings usually known for their intelligence and nobility. The contrast of those two identities felt fresh and unique, and I thought it would bring something different to the table. Some of you enjoyed this blend, which I deeply appreciate, but I’ve also noticed that others found it frustrating—especially the way Vaan relied on his family influence or came across as childish at times. While I still believe in the core idea of the story, I started second-guessing the execution and with university classes, other commitments like SHGS, and life in general, I wasn’t able to dedicate the time or energy to the story anymore. Unfortunately, this has led to Magic Spirits going on hiatus. To be transparent, I can’t make any promises about when—or if—it will return. Restarting the story would require rethinking its structure and re-plotting from the ground up, which is a big commitment. I’m also unsure if there’s still a strong readership for this story. For now, please consider Magic Spirits to be paused indefinitely. If I ever pick it up again, I’ll be sure to let you all know. Hai Hai! I will be writing the 10th review myself. My book? Definitely 5 Stars. (Biased I am, kukuku.) Anyways, I can confidently say that this is my most well-thought-out book out of all I have written so far, the world-building is great, I gave my all to write a likable characters with their own flaws and potential to grow. The magic in the book isn't just normal, "Fireball!" And boom! I have tried to explain Magic Theories, Magic Circles, Inner Circles, Magic Patterns, and all that to make it as immersive as I can. Honestly, I will just say one thing, Trust your sloth friend and read the first 20-30 chapters, I am sure you will not regret it. Thank you~ Have a great day~

Here's a detailed review.I have got nothing bad to say about it. The mc is likable, uses his brain, is witty and most important of all is far less cringey than Nux and far less edgy than Azriel. In short a well balanced and a well written Mc. The story itself is very interesting and world background seems very wide from the little info we got. The characters do not seem 2D altho i dont know if it'll be the same in the future(i sincerely hope it does). Its very easy to read and not very complex. One thing i'd like to advice to author sama is this time please flesh out characters and give them depth through various events, be they from past or present, so the readers can emotionally connect to the characters. Internal monologues and POV changes is one such way of doing things. Ofc creating an entire rough file for the character traits and personality makes it easier for the author to decide which actions a certain character will take in various situations. AND ofc thanks for giving us another banger, hope to see more of you soon.

think i need to give my first review, and a negative one at that. Author dropped this novel without a word (on webnovel). an hes still around since he's updating his other novel. low score is to draw attention since most people like to give 5s on this platform

5 Stars from me cause I really like 'SHGS'as for the book so far it's good, but i hope you drop more chapters fast cause 18 chapters is very few for me to build intrest , well you can drop atleast till 30 chapter really fast.and finally the MC personality there's nothing to complain really likable.keep up the good work

5 stars cause it fits my liking and has high quality while not mincing the social factors of the story development, although a bot slower than the usual for the author development quiet a nice read.

Thought i reviewed already. Either way, a book made by Mr. Sloth is bound to be a masterpiece in writing. Altough found some things about the book that i didn’t like, they were minimal and didn’t ruin the experiance in the slightest. I find this to be a great book
