Agree unfortunately, after the first half of the novel the MC decides to research by himself instead of "cheating" making the plot slow down to a crawl as chapter progress he basically almost stops using origin points except in very key situations or get sidelines by stupid and useless projects for dozens of chapters as the author tries to avoid power creeping by nerfing the MC pursue of progress through his system.- Any of us will already have a starship ready with a fusion reactor and all typical sci-fi troupes, but the MC is busy building an oil rig.- So stupid, other than that frustrating pacing it's a good novel.-

The story is pretty decent when it makes sense but its just completely let down by the translation. Not even 10 chapters in and there are he/she mix ups and signs of badly edited MTL. Seriously what's the point even translating in the first place if you're not gonna at least put a little effort into it? What has Webnovel come to?
