I was enjoying this novel until it took a turn that I terribly dislike. I love the face slapping, but not when people turn evil. This element of the novel is a turn-off for me. I have to keep going since I've reached over 270 pages. When attempted murder and kidnapping occurs in the romance,it's discouraging to me.
