I'm compelled to read. But, I see a problem. Why does it jump from chapter 40 all the way to chapter 150+

I am rewriting my book. one volume is 40 chapters, and there is old material left, I am working on it, removing the old material to be worked on. after chapter 40, go to volume 2 straight on.

So what should be volume one from chapter one all the way to chapter 150 you wrote again. And it went down to 40 chapters? is that it?

volume one is just chapter 1-40 rest is old material that i am working on, i am removing it as I go along every volume is 40 chapters .

All is cleaned now, all the old material is taken out so it is good to read now.
